My One-Hour Journal Article Writing Workshop

I offer an hour or hour-and-a-half workshop based on popular sections of my book Writing Your Journal Article in Twelve Weeks: A Guide to Academic Publishing Success.

I address writing anxieties and habits; the most common mistake that scholarly authors make when submitting articles to journals; and addressing revise and resubmit recommendations. Participants should arrive with a particular paper in mind that they would like to revise for publication and are willing to discuss.

I hold this workshop at institutions I am already visiting; at conferences where my book is on sale; or as a launch for a department or school that is gifting the book to its students or faculty.
